The Finley Project 6th Annual Celebration of Life Gala: LIGHT
On Saturday, July 27, 2019, I had the honor to attend the 6th Annual Celebration of Life Gala by Oviedo Counseling Clinic to raise money for The Finley Project. The founder, Noelle Moore, established The Finley Project to honor her daughter Finley Elizabeth Oblander. Noelle has dedicated her life to making a difference in women’s lives who have also suffered infant loss. Through a unique 7 part holistic program, these mothers are given support, fellowship, counseling, house cleaning, meal cards, massages, and hope.
Each year the Gala takes place at The Alfond Inn located in Winter Park, Florida. This year theme is Light and focuses to reminds us to stay positive and spotlight the mothers’ resiliency and their deep desire to repair, to seek balance and vitality, and to heal. In other words, we celebrated the process of seeing LIGHT in the midst of Darkness!
A big shout out to Fairbanks Florist (she did my wedding flowers 17 years ago) for the incredible arrangements. We sat together, and we got to catch with each other.
